Introducing Evih, a talented musician and entertainer with musical influences stemming from Festac Extension in the city of Lagos, Nigeria. Evih has formed a distinct dimension to his music, Afro-Cruise, which is a combination of both Afrobeats and Afro-pop. Evih always yearned to pursue his love for music, which he developed as a youth guided by all the musical influences around him, including church choirs and traditional bands in his home town. This soon led to him signing a record deal with Tycoon Entertainment in 2017, where his music career officially took off. He released an EP titled “CRUISE” during the Coronavirus lockdown in 2020 and this demonstrated his unique style and positioning in the music industry. Evih's latest project, an EP titled "Afro Cruise", is due for release on 14 July 2023. "Afro Cruise" is set to solidify his position as a lead player in this sub-genre of Afrobeats. Evih finds joy in entertaining and spreading African music to the world. His Team’s recent partnership with UK-based label, Runabeat Music, should help to spread Evih's music globally.
