French and International Singer/Songwriter, multi-intrumentist, arranger, comedian and stylist born in May 1982 in Paris, France.

Ethel Lindsey is mainly known as a charismatic and chameleon vocalist, but he's also an autodidact keyboardist.
He eventually picked up the electric bass in his teens.

He is the younger brother of the late french underground jazz saxophonist, Stephane Lindsey Aronowicz (1968-2010)
Ethel is also family related to famous french arranger, Michel Berholc who was his father's cousin.

Ethel began his musical career at a very young age when he was discovered in 1993 by well known French producer, Bernard St Paul, who has previously produced French icons such as Veronique Sanson or Michel Berger back in the 70's/80's

His early influences are Stevie Wonder, Prince, Lewis Taylor, Michael Jackson, George Duke, George Benson, Wham !, Eric Tagg, Hamish Stuart, Alan Gorrie & Average White Band, Hall & Oates, Billy Joel, Easy Pieces, Des'ree, Luther Vandross, Marcus Miller, Bill Summers Heat, Rufus and Earth wind & Fire ....

Ethel obviously have been also influenced by French home artists like Rachid Bahri, Didier Makaga, Michel Jonasz, Michel Polnareff, Michel Berger, David Koven, Diane Tell, Alain Chamfort, Serge Gainsbourg and Daniel Levi.

Lindsey soon began to work on an anticipated Warner Bros debut album in early 1994.
Prior to this he has recorded a bunch of demos of his own material in a local studio with his childhood best friend's father who was a sound engineer.
But this initial project recorded through 1995 never saw the light of day due to Wea's change of guard during 1995.

Ethel returned to his studies while songwriting and then recorded himself with few tools at home.
Apart of Singing all vocals and harmonies, Ethel played piano, Fender Rhodes, then added all sorts of Keyboards and synthetisers, and eventually moved on bass guitar, and sometimes even drums.
From 1998, he began to do solo concerts in various areas of Paris.
He focused on writing songs and recorded his demos trying to get a deal.

3 Years later, he appeared in 2002 on the web and released several demo albums on the span of 10 years.
These Albums only contains his own material mainly including French Songs among few other ones in English (They are now available on iTunes and all other legal platforms)

In 2001 he befriend and worked in studio with the parisian based and French Electro touch Group " Next Evidence" ( "Thrills" released on Capitol Records)until the end of 2003.
Their association resulted as 3 tracks co produced with them on Ethel's demo album "Venir à vous ( 2004)

Albums :
In 2006, he has released the double demo album "Vintage" and the English Soulful Ep " Ep#1" on itunes in 2007.
This Ep included the quiet storm soul songs : " Sophie" and "Please ! " all written, composed & performed by Ethel Lindsey.

In 2010 he also released his sixth french album called: "LA CONFISERIE DES SENTIMENTS", which can be considered as his true first major act.

From 2012 to 2014, he has been a frontman and keyboardist in several Funk cover bands and Brazilian funk bands in Paris, working intensively besides his friend and original Bassist Virgile Raffaelli with a Horn Section band.

Lindsey Wrote and Composed 5 more unleaked albums between 2009 and 2014.
He eventually met french guitarist David Hattab. This resulted in the foundation of their group " SPARKLES (Sparkles Featuring Ethel Lindsey)

The pair wrote together the electro funk infected single "So Good"( originally released by their home label,Future Play, and distributed by Universal records).
It was also released on Expansion records in the Uk in early 2015 and included in the " Soul Togetherness" soulful compilation directed by Ralph Tee.

Meanwhile Lindsey also found the time to work with his old buddy, Raph Parpex. They penned and performed a single together called "Wrong To Last" in 2014.
The single isn't still released.

Ethel Lindsey's songs are played by the web radios like Late Night Dream, Up Radio, and Yuzu Melodies since 2014.

Lindsey's music have also been influenced by the westcoast/AOR/Blue Eyed Soul genre
This led him to a direct collaboration with another French Westcoaster Artist, Gael Benyamin through his own group: "Geyster" in 2016.
The two musicians released the single "Easy", a duet taken from Geyster's forthcoming album titled "With all due respect", released first on the Japanese imprint, P VINE records then on the international on Geyster's own label.

This led to a series of meeting with various artists, groups and french labels including "Favorite Recordings"

He currently resides in Paris, France.
