Ellie Sax

As an official Hed Kandi artist, Ellie Sax performs at some of the world’s most exclusive events and private parties. From New Years Eve parties in the Maldives, moonlight raves in the Caribbean, glamorous weddings all across the UK and private events and club nights in Ibiza, Marbella, Portugal, The Cote D’Azur, Cyprus and many more, Ellie has toured around the world playing her sax.

Ellie is the only saxophonist to ever win one of the prestigious Wedding Industry Awards, winning the North East & Yorkshire Musical Act of the Year 2017. She was recognised for adding a unique and exciting twist to her couple’s weddings, whether it be playing over the DJ for the evening party or entertaining daytime guests with some ibiza chill music for the drinks reception.

She can perform for corporate events, weddings, private parties and club nights freestyling alongside a DJ or performing as a soloist alongside quality pre mixed backing tracks. Ellie is an extremely talented and versatile artist performing at well over 100 weddings in 2016 as well as countless international and night club appearances.

As well as all this she also has one of the coolest Saxophones around called ‘The Rainbow Sax’ this one has to be seen to be believed. This truly unique instrument was custom built to be a ‘true’ light up saxophone and is still the only one of its kind!

Ellie has performed alongside old school heavyweights such as Jon Dasilva, Terry Farley, Dave Law and many more as well as teaming up with some of the UK’s hottest new DJ talent.

An award-winning graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music, Ellie has always been an extremely versatile performer, excelling in all areas – both as a saxophone player and vocalist.
