A year ago, Australian soul singer EJ Worland's days were filled with hard labor on construction sites across Australia. Discovered for his extraordinary musical gift, he bid farewell to his blue-collar world and embraced a new life in Los Angeles. Venturing deep into the heart of New Orleans, EJ teamed up with A.J. Haynes of the band Seratones, unleashing the magnetic and heartfelt single "Sweet Woman" that resonated with sold-out crowds at New Orleans Jazz Festival 2023 and the iconic Marigny Opera House in New Orleans. Drawing inspiration from the soulful sounds of the early '70s, EJ's timeless vocals and captivating recordings pay tribute to legends like Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. In addition, EJ has shared stages with artists such as Allen Stone, Teddy Swims, Mac Ayres, Joey Dosik (of Vulfpeck), Theo Katzman (of Vulfpeck) and Donavan Frankenreiter.
