About this artist

Lithuanian EDM producer Dynoro achieved worldwide success with his bouncy, pop-friendly dance music, which is sometimes referred to as slap house. He earned multiple gold, platinum, and diamond certifications for his mashup “In My Mind,” which took the world by storm in 2018. His subsequent releases have included 2019 collaborations with Alok and Ina Wroldsen and 2021′s “Monsters” with rapper 24kGoldn. Something of a child prodigy in the vein of Martin Garrix, Dynoro was born Edvinas Pechovskis in Vilnius in late 1999. He started out uploading remixes when he was just 13 years old before releasing his own productions two years later. He became part of the team of Linguazon, an online startup that aimed to teach foreign languages, particularly English, through music. In December 2017, he released his track “In My Mind,” a mashup of the Ivan Gough/Feenixpawl track of the same name with Gigi D'Agostino’s classic hit “L’Amour Toujours.” The bouncy, bass-heavy, narcotic tune entered the Top Ten streaming charts in Germany and Austria, and even made the official national Top 30 in the latter country, before anyone realized that Dynoro had no permission to use the tracks, and the mashup was unceremoniously pulled. Undeterred, Dynoro released his version of Taio Cruz’s “Hangover” early the next year with further success. German label B1 Recordings, a Sony joint venture, saw his commercial potential and, securing the licensing rights, and re-released “In My Mind” in summer 2018, this time giving D'Agostino a feature credit. With the proper marketing push, the single was even more successful than before, topping numerous charts in Europe and exceeding a billion streams online. Dynoro followed his blockbuster hit with a trio of collaborations in 2019. Norwegian singer Ina Wroldsen joined him for “Obsessed,” which was followed by “Rockstar” with Turkish producer Ilkay Sencan, then “On & On” with Brazilian bass producer Alok. In 2020, he released the haunting solo single “Zver,” which was followed by “Me Provocas” with Colombian producer Fumaratto. He then teamed up with Outwork and Mr. Gee for the track “Elektro.” “Monsters,” a collaboration with American rapper/singer 24kGoldn, appeared in 2021. ~ John D. Buchanan & Paul Simpson
