Leading the Boston-based modern rock group “Stilrize,” Drew David hit the ground running, first with a development deal and then a full recording contract with New York’s “Roadrunner Records,” by way of A&R legend Ron Burman; best known for his work with groups like: BB King, Dr. John, Nickelback and Theory of a Deadman.
Performing throughout the US, from 2009 – 2012, with bands like: 3 Doors Down, Papa Roach and Candlebox has proven to be a great seasoning and learning process for Drew David’s career path and long-term goals; thus prompting his decision to leave old projects behind and move forward in the music industry, as a solo artist.
Drew relocated to Nashville in 2012 to write new material and work with Grammy Award Winning producer Skidd Mills; whose production talents can be heard on a multitude of major recordings, including: ZZ Top, Saliva, Pop Evil, Sick Puppies and Third Day. Other than Drew’s own recordings, his vocals can be heard on Saving Abel’s 2012 release Bringing Down the Giant, and he’s also formed many co-writing relationships with other notable songwriter/producers: Joey Moi (Nickelback), Johnny Andrews (Apocalyptica), Craig Wiseman and James Michael (Motley Crue, SixxA.M.), The Warren Brothers, Blair Daly (Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts), Ben Moody (Kelly Clarkson, Evanescence), Brian Craddock (Daughtry), Andy Waldeck (S.T.P), and Jason Rauch (Breaking Benjamin).
Drew David’s solo release (COMING SOON) is the contemporary Singer/Songwriter culmination of his work and time in Nashville, and a reflection of Drew’s musical growth in the industry.
