After unleashing Co‑Kane, which samples the hit record “Set it Off” by Big Daddy Kane. Big Daddy Kane went to say that Don Michael “did his thing” and that he is “probably the first person he respected using his beat since Mariah Carey.” Hip‑ hop activist Don Michael wanted to give listeners something more with this album.
