DJ Serg

A veteran deck-dominator from the Bay, DJ Serg has worked the ones and twos for many notable Cali artists, including Rasco, Planet Asia, and Various Blends. Also known as the Microwave Mexican, he released the Blastido Breaks LP, and in 2001 dropped Golden State Of Mind. The album showcases butter tracks -- strictly from the Bay -- covering 1993 to 1997. Arguably the year's best compilation, Golden State features rare and out-of-print jammies from underground favorites like Blackalicious, Rasco, Peanut Butter Wolf, and Homeliss Derelix. Serg can also be found manning the mixer on the Heratik Productions comp Heavy Off The Richter.
