Born Ojambo Andrew, Daddy Andre was born on August 12th to Mr Jackson Ojambo and Ms Margret Nekesa. He is one of seven children born to the couple and spent most of their early years in Nsambya a Kampala suburb. He joined the music industry quite young. At the age of 16, Andre discovered his passion for music and has been part of the industry not until he discovered he could take on singing as a career. He grew up mimicking International artistes.
He is a recording artiste, songwriter and producer and he sings in more than three languages that is Luganda, English, Itesot. His music genre speciality is Afrobeat, Hip hop, dancehall, Afro pop and RnB. His musical journey started back in 2010 when he started production and writing songs for his friends like Bikunta by City Rock, Baby Papa ft Karole Kasita, Nsitula ft Ava Peace, Spice Diana, Don't stop ft John Blaq, katika by Brotherz Muzik and so many others
He has won several awards including Best song producer and Best song writer in Zzina Awards 2020, Best dancehall song, Song writer of the year and Beat maker of the year in Buzz Teeniz Awards 2020, Best songwriter in Hipipo Awards 2020.
He is currently signed to Black Market Records and has done projects like Tonelabila ft Angella Katatumba & Tugende Mu Church, She Cry's ft. Karasi.
