US jazz saxophonist (baritone and tenor), born November 15, 1919, in Chicago.
Lowe toured and recorded with Lionel Hampton 1949-1952, again in 1955-1957, then with Earl Hines 1958-1968. In the 1980s he worked as a freelance musician in the San Francisco area.
Died October 29, 1993.
