About this artist
Christian began in his early years with a classical education on clarinet and piano. This was followed by his first compositions in pop, singer-songwriter and classical music. In the early 90s Christian Maier turned to rather purely electronic music, composing and releasing countless tracks under the artist name Solar Eclipse, some of which are considered classics of the electronic scene today.
Since then, he has worked primarily as a freelance composer and sound designer for various music, film and computer game productions. Own bands and projects in the field of electro and singer-songwriter, were and still are part of his musical work and partly contain an interplay with classical elements. The symbiosis of classical music and electronic influences is still reflected in many of his compositions today.
