"Chimera State aka Christian Rentschler's music career began at the age of 14, leading the EDM band 'Spirit of Dance'. Christian's exploration in the boundaries of musical production has led him to work with various renowned international artists in the music and film industry, such as Emmy Award winning composer Matthias Weber, Roger Shah, DJ Cosmo, Westbam, Gravitonas, and Alexander Zhakulin.

A 2007 collaboration with DJ Shah titled 'Malaysia', available on Tiesto's label Black Hole Recordings displays Christian's signature sound which became the definitive hallmark in Chimera State's subsequent releases (on Magic Island Records/Armada Music, Black Hole Recordings and Shah-Music) and are currently featured by various DJ's around the world.

Christian's State MX project is the brainchild of both Christian (Chimera State) and Manuel Stagars (MSTMX). The seed of this joint effort was planted when both musicians met in Los Angeles during their work in the film and music industry. State MX's current release 'Anyway, It's Gone' is the result of this collaboration."
