Chamath Sangeeth

"Chamath Sangeeth" චමත් සංගීත් (born January 17, 1992) is a young music producer who found his way up the stairway of the Sri Lankan music Industry. Being the son of late“Mr.Sunil Jayasiri'', who was once the instructor and organizer of the Sri Lankan Army Band, he found guidance and a good solid background from his beloved father for his music career that Chamath started when he was only 16 years old. Chamath also had the guidance of “Milan Fernando "from the “SUMIGA“Studio (K POUND) who is a professional musician with a high reputation in the Sri Lankan music industry.
Chamath also found the opportunity to work with sound engineer "Hemalal Geethadeva" at the Torana. With all the knowledge he gained from his childhood background Chamath has been able to form his own studio, under the name “Sound Effect Studio“with Diego Samson.

"Chamath Sangeeth" most hit track was " Wen Weela Giyada 2015 ” that was sung by Ruwan Hettiarachchi which exceeded more than 1 Million + views on YouTube which was released during the mid of 2015. It is considered a career changing production for Chamath because it was able to hold up the number one position on my TV music chart shows while being blessed by many positive comments from both the audience and other professionals in the industry. It also brought Chamath his very first award. The Music video was presented with the “Most Popular Bronze Award” by Derana Music Awards 2015 which was held on 11.11.2016.

The next hit track that he produced for Noel Raj was “ Amma – 2015 ” which was written by Sydney Chandrasekara. It stayed as the number 1 track on [[Hiru TV]] top 20 for two consecutive weeks.

His knack for producing quality music attracted other various artists that are both upcoming and already established. The young talented artist Sahill Himansa’s “Aye Noena - 2015 ” which was written by Sajith V Chathuranga, produced by Chamath and published by M Entertainment closed upon 424k in views. It was release on the 8th of November of 2014.

“Obawa mata himi na” which was sung by Dushyanth Weeraman and written by Aradhana Ekanayake was released on the 3rd of September in 2013. It was a Radio Hit and was also able to stick on the 5th place on Hiru TV Top 20 program two weeks consecutively.

Waruna Madusanka’s hit track of 2013 "Me Galana Wedana” was produced by Chamath which was written by '''Sajith V Chathuranga'''. It caught many hearts and had great support from radio stations while having a great amount of downloads.

"Wassana Heene" produced by Iraj Wiraratne (2017). sung by Janendra Perera and featured by Kaizer Kaiz was a mega hit which surpassed a 1 million views within 3 days of release was blessed with a catchy melody by Chamath Sangeeth. This was a long awaited collaboration that became trending at number 6 in Qatar and number 34 in Dubai while being trending number 1 in Sri Lanka on Youtube.
Samith Sirimanna’s big hit track of 2018 "Sabe Adare” was produced by Chamath which was written by '''Chathura Waranasekara'''. It caught many hearts and had great support from radio stations / TV stations while having a great amount of downloads. and Youtube 3.2+ million views.
