Carmela Rey

A Mexican singer and actor (born 7 December 1931 in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico – died 13 February 2018 in Mexico City, Mexico, aged 86). She took her stage name from her maternal grandmother, Isabel Rey. During 1959–2000 the second part of Mexican bolero duet Carmela Y Rafael known as "Mexico's Romantic Couple" with his husband Rafael Vázquez (born 26 March 1929).
