Physician by day, soul singer by night, Bellamy took up singing as a hobby 13 years ago, paying dues in cover bands and musical theater.
Her path led her to Ruth Carter, Jimi Calhoun and Jake Langley who mentored her, and became her co-writers.
“Several people have asked me why I am pursuing music when I have a good job" she muses. “The answer is simple – because I love it.”
