With African descent, Bruk is a Houston raised artist that incorporates his innovative ideas into the R&B world. With various influences from all over the world, Hip-Hop/R&B always interested him from a young age. With early exposure to Soul & the 2000’s era R&B from family friends. Around the age of 6 he started learning the arts of musical compositions and melodic tunes. Starting off by playing the flute, as early as the third grade. Laterally, working all through the alto saxophone, tenor saxophone & percussions within following 10 years. This led his drive into music and the layering of singing. While listening to various types of music throughout his years of growing up, he realized one day he would have to make his own songs to feel content. Through the years of development in the church as a deacon and his own individual practices, he became even more in tune with music.
