With her unique and versatile style, B.K. Habermehl melds genres and tones into a jazz-influenced R&B/Pop landscape, driven by evocative lyrics and her musicality as a pianist. She began by writing and playing keys during her childhood, inspired by artists ranging from Mariah Carey to Astrud Gilberto.

B.K. has grown to collaborate with Grammy-winning and nominated talents such as Akon, Jeff Gitty, Jerry Wonda, Keith Harris, and DJ Khalil. She has also performed bicoastally as both a pianist for Dame Dash and as a featured artist alongside the Free Nationals, as well as for events for companies such as Google, and an exclusive interview and performance on Road to Roots Picnic, founded by the legendary band The Roots.

Her debut single "Owe Me That" and its accompanying music video shows off B.K.'s range and dance ability, and was met with rave reviews. B.K. has three songs featured on Season 4 of Issa Rae’s HBO hit show Insecure, including her single “Right on Time” featuring Lonr. and an upbeat feature with Yung Baby Tate entitled “He Wanna.” B.K.'s most recent release “Purpose” also received playlist recognition, and its cinematic video racked up over 120,000 views on YouTube. Her music has been featured on YouTube Music’s Blogged 50 Playlist, Shazam Discovery Top 50 on Apple Music, and on several Spotify editorial playlists, in addition to being in heavy rotation on radio stations in metropolitan areas across the United States. She has also been featured by several global media outlets including Flaunt Magazine, VIBE, and FOX Soul.
