Mixing traditional Zulu music with contemporary hip-hop, Siyabonga Nene, better known by his stage name Big Zulu, performs a style of hip-hop he calls Inkabi Rap. In 2013 he was crowned The King of Rap at the Rap Battle hosted by Back to The City, in downtown Johannesburg, Gauteng. In 2018, he released his major-label debut album 'Ushun Wenkabi' on Universal, following up with the release of 'Ungqongqoshe Wongqongqoshe' a year later.
