Big Rush

Sean Rosch aka Big Rush is a 34 year old rapper from Albany, NY. Rush has been rapping for 12 plus years and has released 8 full length projects to date. Anyone who ever has listened to Big Rush rap says he has what it takes to make it big, for real. He is a veteran emcee who pays homage to true hip hop roots with top notch, lyrical yet polished wordplay. His smooth yet intricate flow captivates both underground and mainstream audiences painting a gritty picture of pain, hardwork and redemption.
Rush, also a graduate of Bryant University, Business Admin. concentration marketing as well as a project manager for his father's construction company has shared the stage with almost every big hip hop industry name. Wu Tang, J Cole, Lox, Slaughterhouse, Mac Miller, Rakim & Juicy J to name a handfull.
In 2011 Big Rush won 1st place in dance BillBoard chart topping hit singer Kwanza Jones's TalentHouse rap contest and was flown to LA to record with her in Will Smith's studio, the Boom Boom Room with grammy nominated engineer Luke Tozour. In 2013 Rush placed in the top 15 entries out of almost 1500 in RA the Rugged Man's Definition of a Rap Flow contest.
Living in Providence, RI for 11 years and Connecticut for 4 years Rush took the local New England hip hop scene by storm eventually promoting his own shows for himself along with other A1 local artists. Rush had several articles written about him in the Providence Phoenix and was nominated by the Phoenix for "Best Hip Hop Act" from 2011 - 2013 never taking the gold home. Big Rush has classic songs with the likes of artists such as Esoteric, Termanology, Reks, Teddy Roxpin, Stu Bangas & many more.
