About this artist

Representing Queensbridge to the fullest, Big Noyd (also known as Rapper Noyd), has been spitting criminology on wax since the mid-1990s. A close affiliate of QB thug pioneers Mobb Deep, Noyd has worked with them on several classic tracks. In 1996 he released his excellent (though slept-on) debut LP Episodes Of A Hustler on Tommy Boy. Full of vivid drug tales and gat clap stories set to Havoc's trademark grim beats, it flaunted street anthems like "Recognize & Realize" and "Usual Suspect." Big Noyd has continued to collaborate with the Mobb, and was featured on their 2002 single "Burn."
