Athos, the musical alter ego of Thanos Kapsalis, is part of a new generation of artists, combining sharp production skills and outstanding djing. Both his Dj sets and own productions music style, are combining from forward-thinking
groovy Tech House to dark Techno sounds. As a producer, he has already set the bar high through his first EP “Substances” signed on the mighty Under No Illusion recordings and reached #4 on Beatport's Top 100 Tech House Releases. His high-energy bangers released on mighty labels including Be One Records, New Violence, Lapsus, Terms & Conditions, Happy Techno Music & more, have gained support from the biggest players on the game, establishing his name as a rising artist on the tech house scene.

Based in Athens, he is a very active member of the local rave community, well aware of the ups-and-downs on a city’s music scene. In his journey till now he was able to showcase my DJing skills at some of the best clubs of Greece such as Bolivar Beach Club, Mikro, Steam, Wave Athens and The Apartment to name a few. Summer of 2023 finds Athos as a resident at Jackie O' Mykonos. He's also been invited to be the opening act for international guests like Robosonic, Sisko Electrofanatik, Keith Carnal and more.

Since Athos’s debut EP reached no4 on Beatport Top 100 Tech House Releases and the track “Space Time” also entered Beatport’s Top 100 Tech House Tracks, he’s a one to watch for sure. Signed on Under No Illusion,
“Substances EP” was supported by the top players of the scene.
Keeping it high level, Athos continued to release his music on big labels such as Lapsus Music, Terms & Conditions and Happy Techno Music, and getting support from the likes of Mark Knight, Chelina Manuhutu, Ki Creighton,
Versus, Rowen Clark, Ekoboy & more.
2022 starts with a bang by signing an EP on Miguel Bastida's imprint, Be One Records bringing Athos in the tech house spotlight again, getting support by Steve Lawler, Chelina Manuhutu and more. Summer touring slows a bit the productions, but the first release of 2023 is out on July on the mighty New Violence Records
