London-based grime MC Asco was featured on tracks written by his peers before carving out an identity for himself. Early on, Asco was known as part of the Mashtown collective, which also featured Margs and Chedda Boy. Eventually, he began releasing solo tracks, although they were few and far between. As the tracks started getting traction online, however, he was persuaded to pursue music on a more frequent basis. Throughout 2017 he made a concerted effort to create more music, leading to appearances alongside the likes of K Trap on “Dope Boys” and Kojo Funds on “Ride with Me.” The following year he jumped on a track with Fredo called “Playing for Keeps.” ~ Liam Martin
