Born in 1974, Florentine, he graduated from L. Cherubini Conservatory in Florence when he was 17 years old under the guidance of Roberto Fabbriciani. In parallel he mastered his musical knowledge attending composition courses with Salvatore Sciarrino, electronic music with Lelio Camilleri and musical analysis with Michele Ignelzi. For his specialisation he attended classes with teachers as Angelo Persichilli, Glauco Cambursano, Massimo Mercelli, Maxence Larrieu, Michele Marasco, Nikolaus Delius, Reen De Reed, Robert Dick, Stefano Bet, Severino Gazzelloni, Thies Roorda. Original Instruments Diploma from Academy of Ancient Music Organ of Pistoia and the Advanced Certificate of the Royal Academy of Music in London. He won national and international competitions including the Tortona International, the Agimus International, the City of Pietra Ligure International Music Competition and the Rovere d’ Oro International Competition.

He began his concert career when he was very young ranging from classical to contemporary music and other various musical genres. Both solo and in numerous chamber ensembles, he worked in Italy, Germany, Spain, Romania, Hungary, Japan, Austria, France, Greece, England, Azerbaijan; collaborating with artists as Massimiliano Damerini, Ivano Battiston, Liliana Poli, Jonathan Faralli, Michele Marasco, Edward Catemario, Joseph Bruno, Riccardo Crocilla, Marco Salvadori, Vittorio Ceccanti, Hidehiko Hinohara, Alberto Bologni, Luca Provenzano, Michele Lomuto, Edoardo Catemario. He was present in festivals and concert seasons as San Carlo in Naples, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Hudderfield Festival, Brescia Teatro Grande, Venice Biennale, Unione Musicale of Turin, Accademia Chigiana, RTSO, Florence Friends of Music, Bologna Comunale, Wiener Saal Salzburg, Festival Milan Music La Scala Theatre, the Contemporary Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto, RAI Radio Three Concerti del Quirinale, Flaneries Musicales Reims ect . He collaborated with the Tempo Reale Centre, the Studi Musicali Ferruccio Busoni Centre, the Fiesole Music School. In the theater sector he collaborated with actors as Sandro Lombardi, the director Federico Tiezzi, Giulia Lazzarini, Ottavia Piccolo in a work by Stefano Massini, Milena Vukotic, Daria Nicolodi, Michele Placido.

He plays as soloist and chamber musician with the Contempoartensemble (with whom he recorded several albums and the soundtrack of the film “Il mestiere delle armi” by E. Olmi winner of the Donatello David) and the Ensemble Elastiko. He recorded albums for labels as NAXOS, ARTS, TACTUS, PolyGram BMG, Sinfonica Carish, Materiali Sonori. He collaborated with many composers as Harald Genzmer, Sergei Belimov, Jindrich Feld, Ennio Morricone, Maxwell Davies, Fabio Vacchi, Giorgio Gaslini, Luca Lombardi, Paolo Furlani, Carla Magnan, Adriano Guarnieri, Ganesh Del Vescovo, Hans Jurgen Gerung, Giulio Castagnoli, Hidehiko Hinohara, Daniele Lombardi, Rosario Mirigliano, Tonino Tesei, Fabrizio Festa, Andrea Portera, Francesco Giomi, Valerio Sannicandro, performing premieres (some dedicated to him). Since 2007 he runs the FABULA UT project performing TEN premieres by Mauro Cardi, Nicola Sani, Daniele Lombardi, Angelo Russo, Cifariello Fabio Ciardi, Carla Magnan, Marcello Panni, Giancarlo Cardini, Guido Baggiani, Carlo Alessandro Landini. The project will be published in a short time. Engaged in teaching, he collaborated and taught in Ferrara, Florence and Gallarate Conservatory. Taking advantage of his informative skills, from 2003 to 2006 he designed and conducted a musical transmission on Controradio and from 2004 to 2006 he held a column in the monthly publication “Rosso Fiorentino”. In 2007, again for Controradio and the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, he was the curator of the lives in the Season “Maggio OFF” with Sara Maggi.

He was a member of the board of the following associations: GAMO, Musical Harmonies, Elastiko, Italian Ensemble and the artistic director of the Musical Harmonies Season of the University Elastiko season “Music of Yesterday on our tomorrow … ” He teaches at the Accademia Musicale in Florence.
