Moved by the unique energy that can only be felt properly on a dance floor, almost 15 years ago Andre Silva decided to pursue a career in electronic music using an artistic approach that is both curious and intuitively emotional. Since then, the DJ and producer, born in the Brazilian state of Pará, has won residencies at Electric Animals Festival (Costa Rica), Temple Club (California) and Elixir (Orlando). Currently based in Miami, Florida, Andre Silva continues to make the most out of his musical catalog, releasing on many expressive house music labels – among them, Muzenga Records, 3000deep, G-Mafia Records, Proper House and Boston Underground.
As a DJ, his sets guide the audience through a complete journey; his imposing storytelling brings nuances from tech house, progressive house and melodic techno with references to the musicality of several countries. As a producer, Andre sustains doses of mysticism alongside groovy aesthetics, such as his “Desert EP”, via House Machine Records, and “Aldebaran”, via Go-Trybe Records – label where he holds the #1 sales position with the track “Modular”, produced with his colleague Antonio Farhy.
Owning an extensive authorial repertoire, Andre Silva reaffirmed his authority as a producer making collaborations with his main references in dance music, fellow Brazilians Andre Gazolla and Fabrício Peçanha.
