About this artist
Based in Southern Colorado, Allison Lorenzen's darkwave dreampop sound explores a minimalist approach to acutely felt noise-pop and aching slowcore. Her first solo album, Tender, was released by Whited Sepulchre Records in 2021 to critical praise. Allison Lorenzen and Midwife's 2023 cover of Bush's 1994 alt-rock hit "Glycerine" received acclaim from many publications including NPR and Stereogum.
