About this artist

Al-Doe is a hard-edged independent rapper inspired by fellow Latino Bronx natives Fat Joe and Big Pun, as well as other acts that came out of New York during the ’90s, from the Lox to Cam'ron. Although he has modeled and acted, including small roles in the television movie Thicker Than Blood and the series As the World Turns and Law & Order, Al-Doe eventually devoted most of his time to rhyming, a talent he started to hone during his late teens. Early releases from the self-designated “pope of coke talk” included the full-length Nose Candy (2012) and the seven-track Keys of Heaven (2014), after which the combative rapper continued his development with additional recordings, including the Benito collaboration mixtape 2 of a Kind (2017) and the DJ Drama-presented tape Legends of the Lobby (also 2017). Al-Doe has been featured on tracks by Smoke DZA, Dave East, and 600 Breezy, fellow MCs who have appeared on his own output. ~ Andy Kellman
