About this artist

Parisian producer Alexis Duvivier makes festival-ready trap and EDM as Aazar, in addition to less brash material as part of the group Point Point. The artist has remixed or collaborated with the likes of DJ Snake, Skrillex, Yellow Claw, and the Chainsmokers.
Aazar first became known for “Shake,” a 2014 collaboration with trap star UZ. The aggressive solo track “Rundat” was released by Mad Decent imprint Jeffree’s the same year. Following Aazar and DJ Snake’s successful remix of Skrillex’s “Dirty Vibe,” OWSLA released Contrastive Focus Reduplication, the 2015 debut EP by Point Point, initially a quartet consisting of Aazar, Nömak, Devoted to God, and L’Homme Aux 4 Lettres. Also in 2015, Aazar released “Pop Dat” (with 4B) and remixed Dillon Francis & DJ Snake’s “Get Low.” Point Point’s Family Portrait EP appeared in 2016, and Aazar released “Gyal” and “Ravage” (with Bellorum) the same year. 2017 brought Aazar’s “Booty Time” single (with Cesqeaux) and remixes for Yellow Claw and J Balvin. Aazar and Bellecour’s bassline house throwback “Da Vinci” appeared in 2018, the same year the Parisian collaborated with the Chainsmokers (“Siren”) and remixed David Guetta and Sia’s single “Flames.” In 2019, Aazar remixed Tiësto and Micky Blue’s “Diamonds,” in addition to releasing “Diva,” a collaboration with Swae Lee and Tove Lo. ~ Paul Simpson
