Wibi Soerjadi

Wibi Soerjadi was born in 1970 in Leiden, Netherlands. After studying at the conservatory, he took an early exam as performing musician. Since then, he won severall prices as a classical pianist, for example at the International Franz Liszt Piano competition in Utrecht in 1989 in 1999 he received the very first public award during the Edison Classical Music Awards.
Wibi Soerjadi plays all over the world with leading orchestras amongst which the Residence Orchestra, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Orquesta de Valencia, Orquesta Sinfonica Ciudad de Oviedo, the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra Moscow, the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orkest and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
Besides his love for the piano and classical music, he also loves Disney. In his house, The Wulperhorst Estate, located in Zeist, The Netherlands, he has a gigantic collection of Disney figures in all possible varieties.
