Wazteland Warriorz

About this artist

November the eleventh, two thousand and eleven was speculated to be the day a cosmic door opened. Those speculations were correct! However the events stemming from it were only witnessed by a small gang in Kansas City, Missouri’s failed Eastside industrial district.
Five young homeless criminals in an alleyway bore witness to the arrival of a group of inter dimensional beings.

They found themselves surprisingly inhabited by versions of themselves from the 13th Dimension. A dimension very parallel to ours except time moves faster. They arrived with grave warnings of the future and apocalyptic wasteland. They decided to use music to spread this message the first two to debut as the group now forever known as the Wazteland Warriorz were Tony Frankz and Stank Naz-T.

Originally releasing their debut effort “Greetingz from the Wazteland” on March 21st, 2012 the duo quickly began to build a local following. The album contained the singles “Greetingz from the Wazteland” and The Sewerside Shuffle”. Along with the underground hits “Eatdarich” featuring the Legendary Mastamind of NaTaS and “The Moon”. After a string of supporting live shows they managed to land a distribution deal with Michigan based Longrange Distribution for the album.

Coming off the hype of their new Longrange Distribution deal the duo went to work on a follow up. Before they could release it however they were picked up by Smokebox Music Group who had just landed an independent distribution agreement with Universal Music Bungalow. On April 18th 2013 the project entitled “BCAREFULWUTUWISH4” was released.

The label failed horribly to deliver the promised release. Not to be stopped however, the group took to the studio with former partner in crime Filthy Footy. Footy had decided to pick up the guitar and this while awaiting the label to fulfill it’s obligations on the release the now trio recreated this album but with a rock spin to it. Dubbed the “Platinum Verzion” the album unfortunately never saw a proper release due to legal issues from the label.

The group in legal limbo has released mixtape material here and there, but on December 21st 2021 a new track which was more of a DJ mix or introduction to something was released independently. Management for the group has noted that a return is imminent, but that Stank Naz-T has gone missing! The reports are that a family member of Tony Frankz and fellow gang member known as Molde will be joining Tony and Footy on the next round of releases
