About this artist

Described as "The Man of The Moment" by Steve Lawler, Wally Lopez is often credited with being one of the key players responsible for the current popularity of the Spanish house scene. After a string of releases and remixes for artists such as Robbie Rivera, Dirty Vegas and Ananda Project, Lopez won Deejay Magazine's best house record of the year in 2001 with "Patricia Never Leaves The House", and went on to follow in Lawler's footsteps by being voted 'Best Newcomer' in the 2003 Ibiza DJ Awards. Lauded by new best pals Danny Tenaglia and Erick Morillo, Lopez founded the La Factoria Discos label to showcase his musical tastes and keep fans up to date with his seemingly endless stream of remixes and releases. Prolific doesn't even come close, and when not at home polishing his trophy cabinet, he can be found crushing every club he encounters.
