Faith-based pop singer/songwriter and Sacramento, California native V. Rose began honing her vocal chops at the age of eight. She eventually began singing publicly at various churches under the name Harmony with her best friend Candice, and at the age of 15, the duo issued their debut album. Harmony disbanded in 2005, but Rose continued to write, record, and perform, eventually inking a deal with Spechouse Media and releasing the album ...As Herself. She also appeared on Christian hip-hop artist Flame’s 2010 Captured LP. Rose signed with Flame’s boutique Clear Sight Music label in 2011 and issued an eponymous debut. Her sophomore outing for the label, Forever After, followed in 2014. ~ James Christopher Monger
