À propos de cet artiste

Tuff Like Iron was born in New York City and is of Trindadian and Vincentian (St. Vincent and the Grenadines) descent. Her vibration is a true kaleidoscope of cultures, which gives her a unique position as a global musician and songstress in the reggae and dancehall music industry. Growing up, Tuff developed an affinity for her undeniable on-screen presence in front of the camera. By the time music came calling, Tuff was already a fixture on the Brooklyn fashion circuit, feverishly churning out wearable affirmations of resilience and self-love to a culturally-aware, yet stylish and conscious following. In a beautiful turn of events, music would claim the spotlight in her world of artistry.

She has performed on stages such as the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, the 2019 Official Bob Marley Birthday celebration at Bob Marley museum and all over the globe from Spain to Trinidad to a growing international fan base. Her most recent singles include, "True Queen", "Everything", “Street Clothes”, and the classic anthem “Orange Peel" (that racked up over 2 million views on YouTube), which is perhaps her most noteworthy release to date. Most recently on the international radar is her collaboration with Goldy Bad Lion on the anthemic tune "Roots Wine". With its accompanying video, directed by Tizzy Tokyo, the track is a bass-driven, hybrid sound, saluting an essential combination of natural living meets lifestyle celebration.
