Thomas Buckner (b. 1941) is an American baritone vocalist performing contemporary classical music and improvised music. Buckner worked as a concert promoter in Berkeley (California, USA) by founding the 1750 Arch Concerts, which presented over a hundred musical events per year for eight years. He also founded the label 1750 Arch Records which released more than fifty records. Buckner co-led the Arch Ensemble until he left California for New York City in 1983, where he began a long association with renowned composer Robert Ashley. In 2000, he founded Mutable Music.
