The Silence

After dispersing Ghost in 2015, Masaki Batoh formed The Silence, picking up right where they’d left off. Five albums in five years with byzantine rock ‘n roll, ornate acoustic arrangements, epic improvisational jams and cover versions of Can, Patty Waters, Rolling Stones, Damon & Naomi, Pearls Before Swine, The Kingsmen and Bo Diddley, all of it combined with transcendent new world music energy.
