The Black Honkeys Band

The Black Honkeys Band has been entertaining the people for over 20 years. They have been voted “ Best in the Bay People’s Choice” for several years, and are based out of the West Coast of Florida. Their upbeat, fun & funky shows make them a favorite of the festival circuit each year. Performing regularly, as well as internationally, in the Southeast and up the East Coast, has kept them a truly seasoned good time. The current long time line up consists of founding members, lead vocalist Brother Phil Esposito & bass player Will “The Thrill” Harris. Our eighteen (18) year veteran’s are drummer Steven C. Tanner and guitarist Greg Zink. Also the very talented horn section members, Terry Clark & Scott Myers. Additionally, vocalist Nicole Simone, keyboardist John Dash Dixon, rhythm guitarist Billy Summer and world renowned percussionist, Mr. Gumbi Ortiz. They are a force to be reckoned with. They have released 4 CD’s, with their latest release in 2020, “Been There… Done That…” which features the legendary Cyril Neville on their track “Pumpin’ “. They are planning to resume their touring to spread the good word.
