Swedish reggae/ska band The Push were formed as early as 1973 in Perstorp, Sweden, but without a name. The original members were Henri "Henke" Hansson, Conny Borg and Bengt Pålsson. In 1974, the somewhat older from nearby Klippan showed up in Perstorp, and joined the band which now called themselves Riot (1975-77). At the same time Stellan Olsson joined the band on organ.
After watching in London in 1976, Stry Terrarie tried to convince the others to turn into a punk rock band. Instead he left and formed .
