About this artist

Repetition and empty space are used instrumentally to create a tepid, calming atmosphere. Drums and bass maintain a back-and-forth rocking rhythm like a train clickety-clacking through the Great Plains at dusk; tight snares mark each passing telephone pole. Sparse guitars accent the loneliness and make you acutely aware of their absence. The Mercury Program's minimalist Emo picks up the direction that bands such as Fugazi have pursued and takes it further. Completely calming, yet motivating and inspiring at the same time.
