About this artist
The Dolls Are Good (as featured on CBC radio's "Big City Small World"; "Frequencies" is the moniker of film-maker/producer Nadeem Akhtar. Drawing on the sounds of his roots in Northern England, the project draws upon and updates the eclecticism of the UK music scene in the 1990s. Through a strong focus on analogue sounds and subtle production techniques an unmistakable, hypnotic sound is born.
