Teflon Mark

Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, rapper Teflon Mark began rapping professionally around 2011, encouraged by friends and in particular the support of his stepfather to pursue his dreams. The young artist took inspiration from a host of Southern rap icons such as Lil' Boosie and Yo Gotti when cultivating his sound, working on several singles and videos before the release of his debut album, Baby Drop, in 2017. The album boasted several standout tracks, including “Instagram,” featuring G-Nate and young rapper Tyreik. Teflon Mark followed up later the same year with the Troublesome Child, Vol. 1 mixtape, featuring the single “Drop.” ~ Fred Thomas
