Sobre esse artista

Tahir Bouhassoun is a French musician. He is a multi-instrumentalist and has been passionate about music for years, playing all types of pianos, keyboards, synthesizers and guitars.

He has frequented the French conservatory system for 8 years, fascinated both by current music from the 70’s to the present day, but also by movie soundtracks, influenced by the work of great neo-classical composers, such as Hanz Zimmer, James Newton Howard or Nicholas Hooper. He puts the piano at the center of his music, and builds it all around this keystone.

In 2019, he signs at FCE Studios Records Ent. and publishes in 2020 a new project, a instrumental double-single entitled Time, recorded with piano and symphonic orchestra, on Time, this dimension as large as Space. The same year, he composes a new piece, an EP called "The Fall", intended to be a modest narrative of one of the most shocking and tragic events of this third millennium. Also the same year, he released a new single, titled "Bir-Hakeim", an instrumental piece which tells how we walk without moving forward, in these tasteless lives where loneliness and indifference slowly progress.

At the same time, he is above all a modern music pianist, highly influenced by rock, pop, variety and funk artists from the 70’s and 80’s, from the U.S.A. to U.K., and obviously by the French classics of this period. He frequents different groups, sharing the stage with talented musicians who become his closest friends and collaborators. With them, they have been running rehearsals, recording in the studio, concerts, shows and jams. It is in all these shared influences and this experience that he finds what he needs to compose.
