About this artist

German-Congolese hip-hop MC/producer, who specializes in battle raps, born January 6th, 1983 in Kinshasa, Zaire, relocating to Paris, France with his family in 1990, before settling in Bonn, Germany, in the country's former capitol, in 1991.

Growing up under the influence of his late brother Yve (R.I.P.), who inspired him to rhyme, with their mutual passion for hip-hop, it was his older brother who would call him the "syllable spiller", from which he would later derive his stage name "Sylabil Spill". Also known as Der Radira (from Der Radierer, German for The Eraser), Spill also makes up one half of Die Beleidiger (German for The Insulters), a group consisting of Kurt Hustle and himself.

Independently releasing his debut EP "Freunde? Nein! (Friends? No!) on his own Planetpenis imprint in 2008, Spill quickly followed up the next year with the release of "Negative Energie" on Entourage-Business, contributing verses and guest appearances to numerous other singles and albums on the same label.

Sylabil Spill has worked with the likes of Retrogott, Audio88, Subz-Z, Olek, O-Flow, Stef der Crashtest, Der Pütz, DJ Adlib, Hulk Hodn, Twit One, amongst others.
