About this artist
SubCulture was formed in Sarnia, Ontario in 1991. At a time just before grunge broke out, punk music was largely despised by the mainstream. Jocks, rockers and rednecks would try to fight us for being punk. Then nirvana got trendy and grunge was mainstream and new school punk was born. We hated it. We kept with the OG old school style. Subculture descended into nefarious endeavors and fell apart.
