About this artist
Steve Hillier is a keyboard player and vocalist from the U.S. who released his first album in 2018. Before that he spent 30 years as a sideman behind soul and blues recording artists Bobby Stringer and Betty Padgett.
Steve started playing piano and composing music as a teenager growing up in Darien, Connecticut. His music crosses genres, from the blues-rock album Let’s Talk About It, to his instrumental jazz single Sunday Groove/Jazz Waterfall, to his progressive rock EP Moving Star.
Steve plans to release 2 new songs in Dec. 2023, a 2024 EP "Wintertime" in January and another two song single in February. He also has more music being recorded right now for release throughout 2024. His newest music crosses from blues-rock to jazz-rock with hints of progressive rock and soul. His lyrics talk of love, passion, the need for peace, compassion, inclusiveness, growing old and spirituality.
