About this artist
Born into a musical family, I grew up in the Florida Keys where both of my parents worked as musicians in the entertainment business. My grandmother taught me to play piano at an early age. I ended up becoming a professor of mathematics but always kept a pursuit of music alive.
I find that music composition and mathematical research have eerie similarities, particularly in their capacity to absorb completely the mind and stretch to their respective limits both complementary faculties of intuition and analytical thinking.
