이 아티스트에 대하여

Scorpion, age 28, is from Fairfield, California. Scorpion is currently pursuing his career as a professional dancer & musician.

Scorpion started dancing at the age of 15, where Turf dance legend Sky Walker was his first inspiration via You Tube videos. After studying the greats and attempting this genre of dance, Scorpion molded himself into this creative creature where he received the name Scorpion because of his signature movements in Contortionism. Scorpion is also gifted in gliding, waving, bone breaking, and turf dancing. From performing and competing locally to being blessed enough to travel to do what he loves, Scorpion was able to get air time on 2010’s season of So You Think You Can Dance and had a large segment about him. From this gig, he was able to perform on The George Lopez Tonight show where Lopez nick-named him the Human Insect.

Scorpion started pursuing poetry and music on a more serious level in 2011, where he released a small music project called The Orchestra. He strives to gain his stripes in the music scene as an artist, not a rapper. His style of music isn’t common for the community he lives in, so Scorpion constantly battles wanting to stay true to his style of music, over doing what’s considered hot.

Over the last several years, Scorpion has had the opportunity to perform his music several times and even open for the legends Obie Trice and Freeway. Most recently, Scorpion released his EP “Who Am I.” this year, and aspires to push this EP and do several performances. His networking and modesty have guided him to a humbling success and he is honored to be able to do what he loves.

With so many stories to tell, Scorpion’s music, poetry and dance all speak for him. But when necessary, he will speak publically and do his best to motivate and inspire young and thriving artists to stay out of trouble and pursue their dreams like he did.
