Sanwal Esakhelvi

Sanwal Esakhelvi has been around music since he was born. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Mehdi Hassan and his father, Attaullah Esakhelvi, Sanwal is well versed in traditional and folk music.

Sanwal has been working in the British film industry as a Visual Effect Artist and Sound Designer. Being a sound engineer, Sanwal works towards creating art that would reach out people around the globe, blending our rich cultural folk and ghazal music style with western genres such as blues and electronic music. With his first venture into the Pakistan music industry, Sanwal has released his debut album ‘Teray Khayal Mein’ and continues to work on more experimental music.
Sanwal will be making his Coke Studio debut alongside his father Attaullah Esakhelvi in a beautiful rendition of a family classic.
