Brixton-based alternative R&B artist Santino le Saint likes to explore darker themes, bringing a unique atmosphere to his music.
Son of hip-hop producer Charlie Parker (57th Dynasty), he started learning piano at eight and guitar at 12. His parents exposed to him to all styles of music as a child; his influences include Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Post Malone, and the Weeknd. He was originally pitched to be part of a boy band, but his desire for creative control ensured that he would do his own thing. He was a founding member of creative collective Cloud X, who focused on visuals, production, sound engineering, and fashion. Surrounded by like-minded artists, he put out his first two EPs, Cloud 304 and Xeno, in 2018. His debut mixtape, A Girl Is a Gun, followed in 2019, which he produced alongside Sidney Swift (Beyonce) and Blueysport (Paranoid). The following year saw another EP, in the form of 2020′s Blue Pill and the release of his debut album Rage of Angels. ~ Liam Martin
