Saint Vrain

This project stems from many years of developing our music styles, songwriting skills, lyrical insights, and recording production.
Chris (lead guitar, vocals) and Jonny (lead vocals, guitar) met in 2009 and started writing songs togther soon after. Over the years (and through many world travels, lifestyle changes, distractions, jobs etc.), Chris and Jonny collected over 50 original song ideas.
Each song has a story to tell. Each song has changed and morphed as we jammed with friends, played open mics, and tried our hand at recording. Some songs have found their resting place in our archives; others have remained stuck in our heads waiting to be resuscitated.
Our main influences were bands like Sublime, Bob Marley, Dispatch, Slightly Stoopid, The Doors, The Beatles and many others. Our genre ranged from reggae, funk, blues, and rock to bossa nova and tango.
In the Summer of 2018, Chris and Jonny came across Ben (drums) and August (bass) and decided to check out each other’s music. Finally, the songwriters met the drum & bass. Lo and behold, a band was formed!
What you see here is our unique expression. We’re constantly improving our skills, our equipment, and our performance.
