Rilès

French-Algerian rapper Rilès began releasing music while he was still in his teens, cultivating a staunchly self-reliant work flow by writing, recording, and producing all of his own songs and even going so far as to personally handle all the directing and editing for his videos. Rilès’ songs were delivered entirely in English with a pop-friendly rap/singing style. He scored millions of streams for various tracks and eventually released his full-length debut, Welcome to the Jungle, in 2019.
Rilès Kacimi was born in 1996 and learned music at a young age by studying instructional videos online. After finishing school, he began to focus more on music creation, setting up a home studio and recording songs that mixed catchy pop instrumentals with commercial rap elements. His first tracks were released around 2014 and his debut EP release, Vanity Plus Mind, came out in 2015. Rilès focused on releasing standalone tracks for the next several years, gaining more and more fans with songs like 2017′s bold and carefree “Pesetas.” After years of independence, Rilès signed on with UMG affiliate Republic Records for the release of his 2019 debut, Welcome to the Jungle.
