Reality Chant

Hailing from the South Island of Aotearoa, New Zealand, production duo Reality Chant work tirelessly to bring conscious music to the massive. With a long and rich history within Australasia through their work with Dubwize and many other vocalists and crews, Messenjah and Midnight Dubs have cemented themselves as a global force in reggae production.

In 2008 the label released the album Snypa Levi – The Sojourner and the “Country Living” riddim on 7″ vinyl with versions from artists including Luciano, Jah Mason, and Mikey General. Next in 2010 was the multi-version Kings Highway album featuring an array of artists such as Natty King, Lutan Fyah, Christini and Ginjah. In 2013 they released the “You’ve Been Bad” riddim alongside Reality Shock Records (UK), featuring another international cast of artists including Errol Dunkley, Daddy Freddy, Deadly Hunta, Million Stylez, Louie Culture, Norrisman and Silva MC.

Other releases include the “Fire I Blaze” (“Judgement Fi Babylon”) riddim as well as collaborations with labels and artists including Dub Terminator, Dub-Stuy Records, Deadly Hunta, Max RubADub, East West Rockers, Anblessnabi, Jah Red Lion and many more.
